Hacking NeoGamma stopped loading games

I've had my Wii softmodded for years, and everything was fine, but today I got a DVD-R - No cios error (101-00053000) on all my burned discs. The system loads official discs just fine, and hasn't been updated or changed as far as I know. Any advice?

Edit: I just ran through the d2x cios installer and it seemed successful, and Neogamma sees the most recent version of the cios I'm using at the bottom of the screen (d2.56.v6 cios 249) but when I try to launch a game, it goes through more of the steps but eventually lands on the same error again.

Edit 2: Seems I was installing in the wrong ios slot. Oops. I'm dumb. I don't know what broke it in the first place, but updating the cios seemed to fix it. Problem solved!

Sorry to bump my own thread, but this just happened again. Nothing is changing as far as I can tell, and reinstalling the cIOS solves the problem.

Any ideas about a source for the issue?
