Hacking NeoGamma Gamecube saves

In the latest release of (NeoGamma R9 Beta56) is it possible to save gamecube games? Of course many say "no" but for awhile now i've been playing tony hawk underground 2, and not only been able to save all my progress and customization, but load it flawlessly time and time again. This game and Spider-man seem to be the only ones that work with that save function most other games give me a "Damged memory card in slot A, please insert a valid memory card" if not actually creating a file on the menu or A: crashing on any other attempts to save, or B:the damaged memory card message. I don't have a gamecube memory card in any slots because i lost mine (just to be clear) and sure i could go buy one, but there hard to find in stores and i cant get one through ebay, plus this has always peeked my curiosity. (all games are ntsc-u)
