I got some TTDS cards and I have problem with most of them. I load firmware and games to my micro sd kart then I open my ds. i can c the menü without any problem. after opening any game I have an error "THE GAME CARD HAS BEEN REMOVED. PLEASE POWER OFF YOUR DS AND REINSERT THE GAME CARD"
I suppose I do something wrong. someone help me pls.
Im telling every thing that I do step by step.

I format my micro sd card as FAT32
I download firmware 1.16 from the site then I put it on to micro sd card.
I put games on micro sd card.
and I open my game.

Must I do another thing?

I haven't heard of that particular error before. It sounds like a contact problem, but if it's happening with more than one flash cart, that isn't very likely. Are you able to play the games at all before you get that error? Do you ever get that error with real game cartridges? Do you get it with all games or only certain ones?

As Hitcher said, try reformatting your microSD card with the Panasonic formatter. It's possible that you have a corrupt microSD card.

You should also determine whether your DSTT's are real or fake. If they're fake, you might have messed them up with the firmware, which contains code that will destroy fake DSTT's. Go here to find out if your flash carts are real or fake: http://www.ndstt.com/anti_fake.html

You can also use the FakeDetector program to help you determine if it's real or fake. Get it from here (the archive contains other files, but you only need the FakeDetector program to help determine if it's a fake): http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=4086

Both the 1.16 firmware and the 1.15 firmware that are on the official ndstt.com website have fake-killer code in them. You'll want to use version 1.15 of the firmware from the download area which should be free of fake-killer code: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=2872

the problem happens with some games. I have formated my TF card with panasonic sd formatter and I have downloaded the free fakekiller software but still the same problem. I think these r fake TTDS cards but I had 5 and 2 of these have the problem often. other 3 works with more games(without the problem).
for exp the same problem appeirs when I try to open "age of mythology" i cant even open the game 1 sec but I open fifa 2009 I enter the menü of the game then the problem.
should I give the cards back to the seller?

do you actually tried to run the fake detector??

Are you sure ndstt.com has the fake killer in v1.15? Have been using a few 'fakes' for a month now on 1.15 without a glitch, ever.

Cheers,

They changed the 1.15 recently to include fake killer code, the one your using is most likely the older safe version.

Cheers,

try to download it AGAIN....the old version of 1.15 doesn't have the fake killer code..and maybe your dstt is a genuine one..not fake

First, grab this download: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=4086

It has everything you need to diagnose and fix a fake DSTT.

The archive contains the following files:

DsttFlashChecker.nds (determines whether your DSTT is a fake or not)
DsttFlashWriter.nds (re-flashes the fake DSTT destroyed by fake-killer)
DSTTDUMP.BIN (data that gets re-flashed by the DsttFlashWriter)
TTMENU.DAT (the official 1.16 firmware patched to disable fake-killer code).

Put DsttFlashChecker.nds on your microSD card and run it in your DSTT to see if it's a fake.

If you've determined that you have a fake DSTT and it has not yet been destroyed by the fake-killer firmware, use the TTMENU.DAT included in the archive in place of the official 1.16 firmware to ensure that it will continue working properly.

If your fake DSTT has been destroyed by the fake-killer firmware, but works intermittently, copy DsttFlashWriter.nds, DSTTDUMP.BIN, and TTMENU.DAT (replace the one from the official 1.16 firmware) to the root of your microSD card, and run DsttFlashWriter from the menu. Press "A" to being the recovery. Restart and confirm that it now works properly. Once working properly, you can delete DsttFlashWriter.nds and DSTTDUMP.BIN from your microSD card, but leave TTMENU.DAT to replace the official 1.16 firmware so that your fake DSTT doesn't get destroyed again.

If your fake DSTT doesn't work at all, you can recover it by running DsttFlashWriter on a working flash cart. Copy DsttFlashWriter.nds and DSTTDUMP.BIN to the root of the microSD card of the working flash cart, and run DsttFlashWriter on the working cart. Insert the non-working fake DSTT when prompted (no need to have a microSD card in the non-working flash cart at this point) and then press "A" to being the recovery. Before testing out the recovered fake DSTT, copy TTMENU.DAT to the microSD card of the fake DSTT (replace the one from the official 1.16 firmware) to ensure that your fake DSTT doesn't get destroyed again. Once you've confirmed that the fake DSTT is working, you can delete DsttFlashWriter.nds and DSTTDUMP.BIN from the microSD card of the other flash cart.

As others have said, the version that's on the official ndstt.com web site now has updated fake-killer code in it. The older version either had an earlier version of the fake-killer code that only killed a few fakes, or else didn't have the fake-killer code at all. So it sounds like you can safely run the earlier version on your flash carts regardless. But do NOT run the 1.15 that's on the ndstt.com website now or it will likely destroy them.

Good advice, thnx.

Can anyone tell me when the fake killer was added to 1.15?

My 1.15 was dated 17 Jul 08. I presume its a good one. And, mine are DEFINITELY fakes.

Cheers,

It would have been sometime after 7/17/2008 (which was the first day 1.15 was released).

I suspect that there have actually been 3 versions of 1.15: one without fake-killer code, one with limited fake-killer code, and one with full fake-killer code.

I can't remember when NDSTT announced their fake-killer code, but I'm pretty sure it was after 7/17/2008. Otherwise, it's possible that the initial release of 1.15 contained the limited fake-killer code (it would kill a few fakes but not all).
