so i'm going through a similar thing myself.
i have a pal wii. i have a us copy of mario galaxy. i have run the wiikey patch to allow galaxy and run the galaxy update.
i ain't too bothered about the double channel but now i can't access my wii settings because i get an opera browser error which i can't touch.
having done some searching about i discover i've 'semi-bricked' my wii. how do i solve this? is it as simple as running a pal version of galaxy? failing this are there anyway of downgrading or downloading just the update required to solve this?
