Hardware need some info on downgrading 3ds

I now how to hardmod a old 3ds xl and use win32 disk imager and save nand. Here is my question I am on 11.5.0 and I want to downgrade so how do i do that

I know you need a patch to do it but i don't know where to get it

I've heard that you can't downgrade a 3ds on 11.5 versions. I may be wrong, but I don't think it is possible.

LUL no its not XD you can only get cfw on 11.3 or lower or you have to use dsiware , ntrboothax(not released yet) or harmod

At least not yet. I have heard there's secret payloads for 11.5. but it is hidden for a good reason.

You cannot downgrade on 11.5. If you want to install B9S and CFW, which is highly recommended, these are your only options on 11.5:

• DSiWare method (requires a second 3DS that already has CFW)
• Hardmod method (requires soldering)
• ntrboothax method (not released yet) (requires a compatible DS flashcart)

For mere homebrew access (not CFW), you can use an alternative exploit to access homebrew on the N3DS on 11.5. Since no payloads exist for it, you cannot access homebrew on the O3DS on 11.5 without CFW.

There's no way to know for sure, so I'm not going to make any predictions. If I were you, I would install CFW.

The Hardmod method will work just fine with all versions of the 3DS/2DS.
