Hacking Need some info and help for modding 2ds xl!

Hello! I just bought a 2ds xl from target because of the 15% and I figured I could mod it. I modded my last 3ds (original aqua launch edition) with sound hax and it was easy and simple. Problem is, I looked and It says I need to hardmod or have 2 3ds's, I'm pretty good at soldering but I don't want to risk breaking a new expensive 2ds xl. I sold my first 3ds a while back cause it was too small for my hands. Is they're a safe way I can mod with just my 2ds xl? I haven' gotten it yet but I assume it will be 11.4 ver. Thanks!

Edit: The Flashcart I showed already has it flashed so if you get it just follow the guide and you should be good and have a hacked New 2ds Xl

just hold tight it will come (the sale of flashcards is prohibited by paypal so) they must make it look like you are not paying them directly . . . but it should come in today

not a nintendo specific deal. . . flashcards themselves are (despite popular belief) illegal in nearly every country as the intended function is piracy . . . and its still safer to use paypal (unless you want to get a prepaid card and use that for payment . . . but you said you already paid so nuts to that idea)
