Well I have been struggling to get into playing DS lately. I am looking specifically for games such as new super mario bros that are enjoyable but don't follow a storyline or if there is one as long as its not too deep. I like mario kart as well but no racing game suggestions please cause I've tried them all. I guess you could say I am looking for almost arcade games. I tried warioware but I didn't like the annoying cut scenes etc. Just let me know if my description is too detailed or too hard to understand.

soma bringer isnt an arcade game!! its more of an adventure rpg with a storyline [IMG] anyways i suggest

    Sonic Rush
    Jump Ultimate/Super Stars [IMG]
    Mario Hoops 3 on 3
    Yoshi's Island DS
    Bangai O Spirits
Bleach the Blade of Fate (story mode is frustrating, but the fighting is awesome)

It's always the same, isn't it.

"Help, I'm a newb and can't go through Gameranking.com's listings and need your help" *someone recommends something* "That game sucks, next!"

Hey buddy, this is a NDS discussion sub and thats what i'm doing. What your suggesting is kinda like giving your business to another site. If you have a problem with these threads then find another site. By the look of your post count you don't contribute much anyway.

The only reason I gave your dime a dozen thread a reply is because you took someone's recommendation and told them it "sucks." If others' ideas suck so much, why not do what I did when I got my NDS and go through a list of every NDS game there is sorted by rating and genre? It's what I did, it took a whopping two hours, and I never have questions about what to play.

Rune Factory has a story, but you don't really need to follow it, just farming/fighting/crafting/leveling fun!

I guess Disgaea DS doesn't count then huh? XD

    But I would suggest:
Mystery Case Files. It has a storyline, but you don't need to really follow it to play. It's just like the PC version, you look for items listed with a limited amount of time.

Don't know if you will like these games but since we're kind of in the genre of games you can pick up and play, how about Picross and Crossword DS.

I kinda like it but with the new one I found it gets a little tedious how you run out of energy so quick.
