Hacking need some confirmation/help with 3.4

this is what i have/don't have :

Pal Wii on 3.4E wiikeyed
NO homebrew channel installed
can't find my original Zelda disc, just the backup

is it possible

a: to downgrade the firmware ?
b: to install the HBC ?

I tried to find the info by shuffling through this forum but thats more input than i could handle

yeah i checked those stickies and they all tell me to do the twilight hack, which apparently does not work with my backed up zelda, hence my question if there are other ways

What are you saying dude, Twilight Hack works with backup zelda!

It wont work if you dont have a wiikey - you have a chip in your wii so backup games work and so the zelda hack will install ... did you try it ?

yeah the game shows up in the disc channel, click on start then i get the safety warning then i hear the drive stops spinning and it says "disc cannot be read" etc etc

Then it's not TH's fault, it's either your burn or your drive!!

hooray....i burned it again and it worked!
i wonder why it failed cause that was the copy i always used....weird!

anyway, thanks for the hints!
