my friend boutght a r4 from china and we no its fake but we cant figure out what card it really is i read somewhere that most fakes r just a M3 in a r4 case i tried M3 kenal but no luck what esle should i try

If it's the same bootleg R4 that was talked about here before I think they were N-Card clones.

Give us an image! If it came with a Slot-2 Card that has a USB attachment then it is an N-Card.

i have no way to but its the new r4 with no spring and has a gold sticker on it, when i turn it on it says hardware is not compatible. with both r4 and m3

Have you tried both the English and Chinese firmwares? I don't remember hearing about any bootleg R4's that use MicroSD cards. It could be a faulty unit maybe.

If it says hardware not compatible your probably putting english firmware on a chinese r4. You can only put chines firmware on a chines r4.

-as above poster mention, u cannot use english kernel/loader with chinese r4...
try downloading chinese loader and see what the result...
