I have been trying to get a reliable setup with a backup loader for a while now and I'm not coming up with anything so now I'm reaching out for help.

I have attached a syscheck as it seems that is the first thing folks ask for when trying to debug a problem. I believe the IOS setup I have now is from when I ran modmii except I updated the d2x to v10-beta52.

I have had some limited success with wiiflowlite - I only tried this one at all because it seemed like it had pretty good SD card support and I can load wbfs games off my SD card, but launching games can be a bit unreliable - sometimes it takes 3 or 4 tries before a game will load (launch game from wiiflowlite, game starts to load, console freezes and requires long power button hold to restart...). Unfortunately SD cards are pretty limited in terms of storage.

I have tried wiiflowlite and USBLoader GX and CFG Loader and none are able to launch games from a USB hard drive. I am set up with a FAT32 drive with /wbfs directory. The loaders all load the filesystem fine, I see all my games, I can download covers/etc...

But when I try to launch a game the loader crashes and I'm shunted back to main wii system menu.

I have tried with 2 different HDDs, one a somewhat old (2010?) Western Digital and the other a somwhat new (2016?) Seagate. Both formatted FAT32 (though I did try NTFS on the Western Digital drive...).

The really funny thing is that I /did/ have at least some games working - foremost in my mind is NHL 2K-whatever-it-is. I think it was in CFG Loader that I got this working... but lots of games were still causing these crashes and now I actually can't seem to get anything to load.

Of course ultimately I'd love if I could just get them all working and choose the one I like best, and maybe get my emulators loading up in their nice game-picker UIs also....

For now I'd just like to be able to reliably load the games up.

Any help at all is very appreciated.

Hello,

Your syscheck report is OK

Try this, in the USB LOADER GX settings, change IOS 249 by 58, then restart USB LOADER GX.

Configurable usb loader v70 should work normally.

Launch your LOADERS (Wiiflow, usb loader gx, configurable loader) from the HBC, and result ??

Or a crappy game,, test your games with wii backup manager to see if they are not corrupted
