Hacking need help with updating r4ds to version 1.11

Hello all.i have tried to update my firmware on r4 ds to version 1.11 so i deleted all old files and roms and replaced them with the new ones (moonshl. DS_MENU etc.....) but now when i put it in my ds and start it up it just shows a load of '!!!!!!!!'s and something in japanese/chinese/korean.can anyone help me please.

redownload them off a different source, and be sure to delet the _menu_.sys or what ever, cause thats a backup of the older firmware

xD you didn't need to delete your Roms.

well, the rom and save file name dont match up

Will i go into the folders and take screenshots of that would that help???

well, the loader is contained in the menu.dat file, so try redownloading it

Is this the one i need to replace?I know nothing about this,im sorry,ive never had to update it before.

well, you really should replace that, the system folder, and the moonshl files

Why replace the Moonshell files? Unless you get the new version of Moonshell, do don't wanna touch the moonshell. The latest version of Moonshell is 1.71. Make sure you have that too.

Just try replacing the system folder and DS Menu with the new ones you downloaded.
