I installed CFW (Reinand) about a year back. It worked great but now I have issue with http-pwn that stopped working and moved to version two. Just download and use that, right? No. It needs to update the homebrew itself. Easy enough, just grab the new boot.3dsx file off the smea site and replace it, ....right??? Well no, as it turns out that it the way I installed it wont work.
I used a great video tutorial that showed how to do everything, but I can not find it anymore. I will try to explain everything I remember or what I found out.
I am running version (NEW 3DS) 9.2.0.20E on SYSNAND and 10.7.0.32E EMUNAND.
Right after I push start the system "crashes" (then colors flash and rop loads) and purple menu appeares.
I found out that "this" is "caused" by ARM9LOADERHAX or MenuHax and the menu should be this:
gbatemp net/threads/ ctrbootmanager-3ds-boot-manager-loader-homemenuhax.398383/
In the menu I have options to go to the Rainand or to Homebrew launcher or to Home menu (of SYSNAND).
I click Rainand and it takes me to Emunand and everything is OK. Then when I need to do Homebrew stuff I start up Cubic Ninja (I ripped the CIA and installed it as app) it takes me to the purple menu where I select Homebrew launcher and work as I need. The question is what do I need to update, because even if I change the boot_hb.3dsx for the new one it is just stuck on lower red screen.
Question is how to update only the Homebrew launcher and leave everything (if possible) intact. And I need to stay on the 10.7. because of NTR screencap is fixed in higher versions.
