Gaming Need Help with Steam/CSSource/DirectX

I recently bought and installed a new graphics card.
Sapphire Radeon HD 4830

It supports up to DirectX 10.1, HD, etc..

But when I load up CounterStrike Source 1.6, I go to video settings, advanced, and my Hardware DirectX still says DirectX 7.0 and it's greyed out so I can't switch it. The software one says DirectX 9.0c, but how do I change the hardware one?

I'm able to switch on games like (Please don't laugh xD) Tibia, where there are 3 choices: DirectX 7, X 9, and OpenGL. Before, I could only choose X 7 and OpenGL, but now I can choose X 9.

If it works for Tibia, how do I switch it in CounterStrike Source?

Add "-dxlevel 90" without quotes in the "Set Launch options.." to force it.

DirectX 9+: -dxlevel 95
DirectX 9: -dxlevel 90
DirectX 8.1: -dxlevel 81
DirectX 8: -dxlevel 80
DirectX 7: -dxlevel 70

What game are you talking about "Counterstrike Source 1.6"? Counterstrike Source or Counterstrike 1.6 these are 2 different games?
