Homebrew need help with my wii

when I goto put the files on my SD card the from the homebrew channel files are private and boot.elf I put that on my card then I put it in my wii I goto the data and channels,SD card and it dont show nothing shows a ? mark am I doing something wrong I have version 4.3v for the wii

Are you trying bannerbomb?
If so, it doesn't work on 4.3, you need one of the exploitable games. And if its just wanting to copy the save, then it should be in data management, save data

well what I did is put the SD card in the computer and added the files for the homebrew channel the private and boot.elf file not sure if something is wrong with the file or not but I put it on the SD card and then the super smash bros brawl that I rented I done everything on the game and when I put the SD card in the wii it just dont do whats it post to do load the homebrew channel am I doing something wrong please help I'm useing a 2Gb micro SD card I have to put it in a micro SD adapter does that matter?
