Need help with ios 8 imessage

So I was imessaging a friend because I cant use texting for what ever reason with att and I accidently press the nut numbing use msg button now I have done everything in my power to fix it back switch imessage off and back on, erase the conversation and make a new one i even wiped my iPhone and restored it in iTunes... but to no avail i had no success CAN ANYONE PLEASE SAVE ME FROM THIS HORRID BUG/GLITCH THINGY?
