Hacking Need help with getting Homebrew onto Old 2DS

Hey, I've been recently wanting to get homebrew and I followed the guide on github with my version of 11.9 and I got up to playing Steel Diver to check if Steelhax worked. Despite my attempts, it didn't and just said an error would close the software. I made sure everything was where it should be. Anyone able to help with this?

What error and when does it happen? (Exception occurred and when trying to launch homebrew launcher right?)

Yes, it comes up with "An error has occured, forcing the software to close. The console will now be restarted." This happens when trying to enter Steel Diver/Homebrew Launcher.

Makr sure you don't have the update/dlc installed for it, if you do delete it

All I can say is, did you follow every step correctly?

You got your moveable.sed, made sure DS Download Play was functioning properly etc

yup, i'll recheck again to see what's happened. I'll post what my folders look like if it doesn't work.

orange=seems to be the wrong file

So… I'm not really familiar with the Steelminer / Frogminer method, but I've found two things:

1. You don't have the folder SD:/3ds at all .
   
2. You have replaced rob.bin from steelhax-installer.rar with a different file; judging from the size a copy of payload.bin while replacing rop.bin is nowhere mentioned on the guide. Neither the on the Steelminer guide above nor on https://3ds.hacks.guide/homebrew-launcher-(steelhax)

Wow, I'm not sure how I managed to screw up that much. After doing it in that order, managed to get homebrew working. I'll be sure to backup next time so thanks a lot!
