Hacking Need help with Gamesave for Yu-Gi-Oh! 2007

I have never done this before, and i cannot get it to work.
First off i downloaded the save.
Unpackaged it.
Went to the M3 game manager.
Double clicked on the rom.
Clicked on write.
Got the save.
Came up with write ok.
But when i go on it all i get it start new game, what am i doing wrong?

If you can help me please do, or if there is a guide that you can direct me to please give me a link.
