Not sure how this happened, I think I was trying to view a video and it asked me to download a codec and stupidly I did and it installed this trojan. I can't seem to remove it with Spybot, everytime I do and I rescan it, it's back along with a few additional ones. Whenever I try to open a folder, it just opens up my browser and takes me to a Google search with methods to remove it. It's kind of misleading. What do I do?

You should probably check this topic, as there were many suggestions in there:

Sorry if this is a bit of a stupid reply, but it's all I've got

Also, make sure you turn off you internet connection while you are removing the virus.

For real, check out that thread, they really did help me out.

Installing Avast and letting it do a scan before Windows boots is great! And Malware Bytes was a superb program.

Just, don't, use, Norton, good lord.

Ok, I finally removed it with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Good program btw, I tried scanning with some other programs and it didn't pick up those files. Wow, that was really annoying. I shouldn't go to sketchy porn sites anymore.
