at section 1 . i did already . i use old 3DS

i stuck at section 2 about hold power + start + select + x .

Does this step SD card is in Micro SD card slot or it is in flashcard ?
Do i have to release button after i saw screen or i have to release button before i saw screen
SafeB9SInstaller

. i try more than 1 hr already . T T

Section II - ntrboot

  1. Use the magnet to find the spot on your device where the sleep sensor is triggered
    • This step is not needed on the old 2DS (which has a sleep mode switch)
  2. Power off your device
  3. Insert your flashcart into your device
  4. Place the magnet on your device to trigger the sleep sensor
    • On old 2DS, you should instead enable the sleep mode switch
  5. Hold (Power) + (Start) + (Select) + (X) for several seconds, then release the buttons

If the power light goes on then off then you are missing boot.firm from the console's SD card.

the file will have only 4 files . right? boot.firm rename from SafeB9SInstaller.firm
boot.3dsx
and folder boot9strap with file inside => boot9strap.firm and boot9strap.firm.sha

QUESTION

1. i was wondering that. when i hold power + start + select + x with magnet. i have to hold button and magnet untill i booted into SafeB9Sinstaller.
OR i have to hold button and magnet only 2-3 second and release then i will boot into SafeB9Sinstaller

2. this step use R4 with micro sdcard . right? not use SDCARD slot

If the power light goes on then off then you are missing boot.firm from the console's SD card.

Last edited by kimnue,
If the light goes on then off you have been successful with the buttons and with flashing the card, it just can't find boot.firm. Make sure the card is formatted to FAT32 and inserted properly in your console. You also might want to check it with H2testw
