I have a ESP8266 with c0d3m4st4 2.71 firmware and a PS4 with 5.05 firmware.

I have my PS4 and PC connected to the ESP8266xploitHost with respective IP's of 13.37.13.136 and 13.37.13.137

From the PC, I am able to ping the ESP8266 AP of IP 13.37.13.37 and ping PS4 IP of 13.37.13.136

On the PS4, I then run the xvtx-Hen exploit and then the xvtx-FTP exploit (they execute as normal). On the PC I try to connect with the FTP Client to IP 13.37.13.136 on port 1337 with username and password set to Anonymous.

It won't connect. What am I doing wrong?

I am able to get FTP working when I connect the PS4 and PC to my wifi router and it dishes out IP's. Why doesn't FTP work with the ESP8266? I see a references for FTP in the ESP8266XploitHost manual, but it's for a server on the ESP8266 not the PS4. I am trying to make my PS4 offline, and would like to use the ESP8266 only when FTP. Is this possible?

It should be no username and password

I installed Keeperdy 1.3 Offline firmware instead of c0d3m4st4 2.71 and it works! c0d3m4st4 2.71 firmware must be broken for FTP.

Ok, playing with this ESP8266, it seems like it is a crapshot if the exploit selected executes completely or not. I tried c0d3m4st4 2.71 on another D1 mini I had, and Keeperdy 1.3 on the other and switching between them. Sometimes the exploit selected would work perfect, other times they would stall, other times it would black screen the PS4 and reboot, and others it would only unlock some of the fpkg I installed.

Is there a more reliable way? I even did the offline cache with c0d3m4st4 2.71 and its still not 100% reliable if the selected exploit would work.

I've been using xvtx-HEN because people say its better than Mira+Hen.

Yup, seems to be the case. I ditched my ESP8266 with KiiWii's hosted repo and turned to hosting my own package on my own site.....it seems to be more stable and also the ESP8266 just straight-up would NOT allow PS4 Cheater to work at all....roughly because you needed to be on the same network in order to inject the payload. Seems everything is a hit-and-miss when it comes to what exploit to use and how you are supposed to use them......and what I mean by that is that you almost have to do things in specific orders in order for certain things to work, like you have to run Mire+HEN to get BIN Loader to work; or you have to use VtxHEN to get better game compatibility. It's all really about experimentation and what works best. Half the time I see myself completely running out of system memory when I start fracking around with too many payloads.
