It should work with adapter. I just don't know if that link is full size or micro-sd with adapter. I don't think it says adapter so it might be a bad picture.

I just found out apparently 3DS' can't support SDXC, is this true?

No, Checkpoint is only useful for save data (and applying cheats). You need to use Godmode9 to back up apps and updates.

But realistically, anything available on the eShop (free or otherwise) is going to be "preserved" all over the Internet hundreds of times over by amateur "preservationists".
If using Godmode9 do I need to convert games into a .cia or .3ds file? Which is better in a situation where the 3DS breaks? Also will this work the same way for DSi games?

So in the situation where the 3DS breaks after the ehsop closes, could someone link me to a guide on what to do to restore save files found on my 3DS' SD card so that it can be moved on another 3DS (since apparently they are encrypted)?

Also if such a thing happens, would I still be able to use something like Pokebank on a new 3DS system with the same or new Nintendo ID after having copied the app?

I'm new to this so it would be very helpful if someone could direct me on how to do it.
You could do a system transfer I did that with my broken 2ds and I had to try a few timed because my WiFi card is broken but it worked😎😎😎😎And transfer your Pokemon to a game like Pokemon sun moon x y alpha sapphire and omega ruby I also I did that🙃
