Sorry, I'm a bit scared of the shiny Latios. I should know, I have a great Latios that has destroyed teams!

With milotic, replace the hydro pump with something else. It's accuracy is only 80% compared to surfs 100%.

Give me a quick suggestion, because hydro pump has saved me a lot over the years an it isn't going without a fight.

I HIGHLY recommend lurking here and possibly making an account. http://www.smogon.co...splay.php?f=127 They provide much help for VGC. Also, you can get your team rated and get professional help here. http://www.smogon.co...id=rmt_mode_vgc Here are some commonly used VGC 2012 ruleset Pokemon sets. http://www.smogon.co...splay.php?f=162
Some commonly used good Pokemon are Latios, Zapdos, Hitmontop, Scizor, Garchomp, Chandelure, Tyranitar, Ludicolo, Politoed, Thundurus, Metagross, Rotom-Wash, Abomasnow, Toxicroak, Gastrodon and Cresselia
If you need some training and overall helpful practice, download Pokemon Online (http://pokemon-online.eu/download) and go to the Skarmbliss VGC server there.

I suggest either rain dance (Increase water based moves power by 50%) or safeguard (prevents status effects for five turns)

    Those links explain it better.

Last one: Should Milotic have a Damp Stone or keep the Mystic Water?

There is no such item as a damp stone. What you are referring to is a damp rock, which increases rain dance effect to 8 turns from 5. Mystic Water boosts water type moves by 20%.

You can either have surf at 70% extra power with mystic water for 5 turns or you can have surf at 50% extra power for 8 turns with damp rock. Your choice.
