Need help creating intro

I'm geting to make an intro for my youtube channel. I basically made a 3d cube and it rotates. I would like the cube to explode after 6 seconds. I can't send a link to view my intro since i'm using my phone but when I get to my computer then u will. Btw, I a self taught after effect user. I know the things that I know now by viewing tutorials.

So does anyone know how to create that effect?

I wouldn't, but what software program do you use? It might have a guide/faq online that could help you out.

You should be able to adapt either of these two tutorials to your AE proj

Cinema 4D is a program people use to make Intros (also animations, 3d models, etc)
Many are on YouTube to do just that (an exploding Intro) !
