Hacking NDSL shortage

There seems to be a NDSL shortage in both Vancouver and Toronto. One of the sales rep told me Nintendo is changing the packaging of the unit hence the delay. Can someone confirm this? Will there be any updates to the unit itself?

I doubt they are changing the packaging. There was a shortage here in the California from Dec-Feb. However, they are restocked everywhere here now. I don't know. It must be different in Canada. Sorry, I hope you get your hands on one soon.

Yup Vanouver definitely suffers from shortage.
I actually saw 2 types of packaging, but don't think that's holding up the line, and doubt that the article is likely to happen. If they make the screen bigger, the whole thing will become bigger then will they name it NDS BS as in Big screen =P?

That would be cool to have a slightly bigger screen. If they do release a newer DS Lite, I would hope they would add more features than just a bigger screen. Possibly make the screens bigger and the system smaller? DS Liter?

If they make the screen bigger, then will the games be different than current games?

I live about 40 minutes away from Toronto, and there are DS Lites everywhere

The Zellers I went to had about 20 of them in stock, and the futureshop had a shelf-full.
