Homebrew NDS through Download and play

Would it be possible to use the NDS mode of download and play to run NDS roms? Eg wifi spoofing and rom injection?
I know nothing about this but am curious to how download and play works.

No. The only way to play NDS roms is through a flashcart.

no, for the same reason you can't send a rom via download play to other NDS
it only has access to 4mb of ram...
