Hello everyone,

after trying out many Nintendo DS ROM Managers I have decided to create my own. The thing is, I have no low level knowledge of how to read a ROM. I was wondering if anyone knows any library that already has this functionality.

Although I am planning on doing it in C#, I have enough knowledge to do it in any language this library is.

Thank you in advance.

Have you tried searching for the source codes to ndsts? Since it can get into the roms, maybe there's some source? I'm not sure though... or maybe you can send an email to the creators of it

I had the same idea and downloaded the source of desmume from SourceForge. I am looking at it right now. It's in C++. Let's see...

I also found a Python library in this Trac site (it's down! I was there 5 minutes ago!): http://dev.jmoiron.net/trac/rom-seimei/

I will also look at your suggestion.

QUOTE(Gryphon93 @ Jan 12 2010, 06:50 PM) I found this when I searched for documentation about the .nds-format. I'm working on a program too and I had to know how to read .nds-files. Well, here's the link: http://www.bottledlight.com/ds/index.php/F...rmats/NDSFormat

What are you working on? If it's a ROM Manager maybe we could work together...

Thanks for the link.
