Hacking nds lite slot 1 replacement

urgent help required
my daughters dslite keeps on saying no ds card inserted even thought i have blowed inside slot 1
i then put a torch on and saw that the pin is bent.
any 1 please how do i replace it or fix it
please some one help

this repair requires delicate soldering an it is often better to desolder the the metal cover of the slot 1 and remove it while leaving the rest of the assembly attached.this allows access to all pins letting you bend them back into place. this is also difficult but there is less chance of damaging other components.cauton is required whoever as there is a spring assembly which is easily lost.

Try bending it back into place with a needle(a moderately thick and long one) If that fails, THEN you can go to dealextreme. Just so you can say you've tried everything.
