ROM Hack NDS Input Redirection

With Luma 3DS I can use Input Redirection to use my Gamepad on my o2DS. I only know how to do this with 3ds games though. Is it possible to do this with NDS games?

You'd need to port the button emulation, the network server, the entire wifi stack etc... to the separate DS/i mode kernel
