Hacking nabbed a 2.82 1000

as the title says, i nabbed myself a psp 1000 with version 2.82, probably hasn't been used since 2006 since at the very least, only has a 32MB memory stick
anything special i can do with it or should i just update it to 6.60 and do whatever

i've got a 3000 for really anything else so i could just keep it at 2.82 for the sake of having a psp on 2.82



also slightly alternate topic, are there different models of the 3000 with different screen types? or is having a 30HZ interlaced screen normal for the 3000

It's almost been 2 years since this thread was created, but I'll reply anyways.

There's actually no point on staying on low firmware in 2021, since you can basically downgrade to any version. So I suggest you to update it to 6.61. But if you want to keep it, its your choice.

And for the second question, I'm pretty sure every 3000 models have the same specs, so this means every 3000 model has the same screen, and yeah having a 30hz interlaced screen is normal for the 3000.
