Hacking N64 Emulator In Gamecube Mode?

Was there ever a boot disc that ran N64 games in the gamecube scene's days? here's a ton of N64 games I would love to play now that the gamecube loader is up and running if true.

why would you want it in gamecube mode?... just inject the roms to a wad... or use the Wii64

well they managed to extract the emulator from the zelda bonus disc, and then injected some games into it
but compatibility wasn't that great
