what's the best emulator to use?? Everyone I've tried from FBIs TitleDB gives me stack dump crash error when returning to home screen and forces the 3DS to shut off after trying to leave the app

Use the built in VC emulator or blargSNES

snes9x for 3DS is a great one to use. There's a page for it here somewhere, just throw "snes9x for 3DS" into Google.

It's also on Github. There's a CIA release and a 3DSX, use the CIA.

I think VC injections are the best.

Pocketsnes runs games like SMRPG and yoshi´s island at 60FPS, try that if you wanna play those games.

SNES9X i've found to be great plays all games at 60FPS no lag or anything on any games i've tried out

With the newer versions this shouldn't happen, it used to in earlier versions. Does it happen when you exit from the emulator using the exit option in the menu or the Home Menu button on the 3DS?

SNES9X works perfectly. Any recommendations on a GBA Emulator mGBA is good and all but it lags? Did the guy/team who made VituralNES and SNES9X make a GBA Emulator as well??

i only have an old3ds but snes9x is awesome, blargSnes is pretty good too. i never had a crash using either btw, what options are enabled in your luma config?
