Hacking N3ds doesn't boot after update.

Hey guys,

Today i used the Luma 3ds updater. After the update my new3ds doesn't boot anymore. When i try to boot my device the blue light turns on and after 1 second it turns of. I tried booting without the SD card but it gives the same results. I installed b9s on my device.

It was on 8.0 if i remember correctly, i updated it 3 weeks ago.

oh. This looks like you are missing boot.firm, which does not make sense if you used updater. Can you show us root of your sd?

my bad it was on luma 7.1

then it makes sense because luma 8.0 needs boot.firm on sd (root) and if you want to boot without sd, you need to copy some files to CTR NAND as well

But i can see the boot.firm on my sd card

I see. Try redownloading all necessary files and copy them to sd, then try it again. And btw luma 8 needs b9s 1.2 or higher. But now what we want is to boot to luma (at least)

I see i updated luma on b9s 1.0 thats why it didnt work so do i need to download b9s 1.2 now?

yes, you need. Just follow the guide and it will be done in like 10 mins
