Hacking N3DS CFW/Card Question

Apologies if this has been asked before, other threads are making it more confusing then simple straight answer.

I have got N3DS on 9.0 firmware, now i'm looking to play some more games then just pokemon.

Whats the best possible way to achieve that?

Looks like i can't install cfw as it requires cubic ninja which is around AUD $80 here.

Gateway $93 - Still need OOT or cubic ninja. May be able to buy OOT ($30) but then need to inject save so another $20 for power save.

Sky3DS $103 - use this for games or emulate as cubic ninja to install pasta or reinand to play online on current firmware.

So what would be the best possible way to go?

if i were you, i would just search the web for cheap cubic ninja. you might get lucky in an auction.

Cubic Ninja is quite expensive here . IMHO, Sky3DS is the best choice for now.

Just make sure you get a Pal version if you have an (E) system.

If i get sky3ds, would i be able to play online without upgrading firmware? Or access eshop?

Sky3ds + cfw = Yes (Only games need to be up to date, not the firmware) & Yes (With eshop spoofer)
