MyWEI is a simple tool to safely modify WEI (Windows Experience Index) for Windows 7 and 8​

1. As long as i know, there's no bug

If you will, for faster respond, you can mention me ​

1. Run the application

2. Adjust the slider to the value you want (max 7.9 for Windows 7, and 9.9 for Windows 8)

3. Press "Apply" button to apply the score, then the WEI window will be appeared

1. You can restore latest WEI Score before the applying (as long as "create backup after apply" checked) by clicking "Load recent backup"

Or you could just upgrade your PC to get the score you desire - don't really see the point in this existing ?

Saying this I have made some pretty pointless software in the past ... although that was usually just to annoy people so I guess it did have a point. Most famously was trashman - it would load up on startup and if you had more than 2 rows of icons/files on the desktop it wait for user activity to have stopped then place everything on the desktop in recycling. This came from my hate of users storing everything they had on the desktop. A hate that still festers to this day ...

thats the point, instead of upgrading the PC, why not to just modify the score, i mean for fun purposes of course, since we can get the more and more accurate score by using third party programs.
this also told people, the reason of why WEI is no longer available anymore

this is useful on next April too
as long as you are using Vista, 7 or 8
