Hacking Mymenuify

Quick question, my SD slot has been broke for ages now and i feel like installing a new theme, but everytime i fire up mymenuify from my HDD, it says "failed to view files on selected load device" (or something close to that)...i tried it on a few HDD's now and I keep producing the same error..any help would be appreciated!

mymenuify doesn't have hdd support

at least i dont think it does

i thought the same thing,but on the Complete Softmod Guide page it states:

"5. Create a new folder on the SD card/USB device (like CSM) and place your csm file there.

6. Launch Mymenuify and browse for your theme and let it install. Done, Reboot your Wii to see the result!"

thats a mistake in the CSG then

I once asked cwstjdenobs to create a mymenuify mod to be able to read csm files from a usb, he ended up getting it to read the usb but it would freeze at each attempt at a csm installation. But this was AGES ago.

anyways, i'm sure someone could do it pretty easily, but it hasn't been done yet

thanks xflak. I just ended up unpacking a system menu wad,replaced the .app and repacked it,installed it. worked like a charm!
