Hacking MYM themes help..?

wats up man! , i made a theme guide a while ago i showed you but i geuss i must have lost it lol

I remember that guide, I left some posts on it!
I just now got in to the CSM themes, lol I saw a Mortal Kombat theme and I had to change from SoftMii to MyMenu.

If you ever see that guide around PM me.

I'm going do some major digging for it...

yeah, I got the 36Runfirst.mym working.. I bricked my Wii trying the Theme with out it.

Here's how to use it, or at least how I got it to work.
00000072.app works only for System Menu 4.0U.
If you're System Menu is different you'll need a different .app....000000XX.app.

1st. Take the 00000072.app and the 36RunFirst.mym and combine them using MyMenu.
"It's the same process as making a CSM theme."

2nd. Save the combined file and name it 00000072.
"The new 00000072 is now ready for the MYM Theme."

3rd. Use the newly made 00000072.app and the Theme.mym to make the .CSM.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PRE-LOADER AND OR BOOTMII INSTALLED TO BOOT2!!!!!
IT IS STILL REAL EASY TO BRICK THE WII USING THESE.

Thank you it did help, just one thing with my CSM's is that the health screen starts up with just the normal screen, not the one that should be with the theme :-(

Try setting the language on your wii to english. That should make it work.

Thanks for the reply, it was already set to English, so tried a different language, re boot Wii, change back to English, re boot Wii & still the normal health screen :-(

Alright, instead of starting a new thread, I'm just going to use this one.

I've got my .mym file, and my 00000098.app files. (Downloaded with NUSD [Pack -> WAD set, decrept, and local files set.] Used MakeKeybin.exe to make a keybin.)

but I keep getting the ASH Unpack Fail message. Any idea on what to do?

Updated MyMenu, and now I get "U8 Unpack Fail" instead of "ASH Unpack Fail".

that would be because you have the wrong base app 4.3U is 00000097.app
