Hacking my_IplTop_a.brlyt Guide?

I've been looking for a couple days but I cannot seem to find any guide as to what values reference what.
I've seen guides on how the files are set up, but I'm confused. I can get the XMLYT file out of the BRLYT file with benzin.

I am trying to change the color of the channels pane, the bar color, that separates the clock. What values do I need to change the colors of things, also, what format are they in as I didn't see any traditional hex codes anywhere?

You'd probably be better served asking whatever active members are left of the Wii Theme Team.
I wish I could help but it's been a long time since I've edited any .brlyts or used benzin.
