Thank you for telling me, how do I remove it if I already formatted my WiiU? Thanks in advance 😞
I think you could do the browser exploit (a temporary mod) and then launch Mocha to activate its CFW. After that, do it again and you'll be on the HBL with Mocha CFW on, but as I've never used regionhax, I can't really help you with removing it, but this post might help:
@Wesley_White Easy: Do what you did to install regionhax but do it backwards.

In case you can't remember what you did have a look at https://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-u-missing-disc-channel.460856/#post-10053972 (which you should have readed already, seeing you replied to that thread, too).

Be warned that a slight mistake might brick your console through.

You can just use Aroma and then fix the XML file over ftp.
already did it! Now I have again my disc and vWii icon! Thanks a lot everyone! :D

sorry to bother but I got the same problem as OP, so can I just copy the file over to my computer, change the value and then replace over ftp? simple as that? that won't brick my console?

Yes, but you need to make sure to not make any mistake. If you mess up the system.xml it will cause a full brick. You can install ISFShax as a brick protection
