maybe this is stupid but...

i wanted to play Wii but i couldnt find my wii ac adapter
so i used my GC ac adapter but the light didnt turn on

so i looked for my wii ac finally found it and now the wii
doesnt turn on...

does anyone knows how to fix this?

it does fit... and you dont have to force it... it just doesnt fit until you push a little

Yeh same (living in australia)

Sending the wrong power into something can easily fry hardware. You should or read the power rating on the adapter before you did that

Just hope you didn't totally fry something

Well some searching shows that the gamecube's power supply is 12V and 3.25A.
The Wii's is 12V but only 2.75A. So the cube's power supply was 0.5 amps too much I don't know if that's actually enough to cause damage though. Perhaps you've just damaged the connection pin.

I suggest you try your Wii AC Adapter on another Wii to check if the ac-adapter is broken.

It's very likely that you've done something in your Wii. I.e, broken something inside. I've broken a phone by putting a camcorder charger into it. The phone didn't charge. What you're going to have to do is send it back to Nintendo. It'll be expensive if you're out of warranty, but it's your own fault for doing that.
