If its a DS Lite, i think you should be able to clean it with soap and water, but just dab the cloth in the soap and water BEFORE rubbing the dirt. And try your best to not use too much.

The BEST thing i've encountered to clean stuff with, is the Mr.Clean Magic Eraser! Trust me, this thing really works!

you guys are nuts. mr clean will clean your console so hard that it'll vanish into thin air. mr clean magic eraser is a block of chemicals that'll eat your system away before you can say, "clean". you gotta be extremely cautious about which cleaners to use. try looking online for a cleaner that's good on windows/glass yet safe to use on wood/your face... lol i'm kidding... but seriously, try to avoid using chemicals that'll slowly erode your system... you'll be facing a system with more scratches than ever!

You guys are cracking me up!

But no, I seriously thought that throwing it on the ground stepping on it worked so good. And then dipping it in some water a couple times. It's like brand new!

Nothing removes scratches from a DS quite like a blowtorch !
(NOTE : I don't have a blowtorch)

If you then chop off the tips of all your fingers, this eliminates the fingerprint problem completely
(NOTE : Remember to apply sticking plasters before touching the DS by the way)
(NOTE NOTE : I have never met a frenchman I didn't like)

PS. I am severely mentally retarded
