My IRC Server

I know i really havent gotten any sort of offical blessing from anyone here at GBAtemp, but I did create a dedicated server for IRC chat just for here.

( orignially it was for the tetris competition, and still can be for any tournamates for games that haven't been ruined by cheats...

)

It is currently running an a dedicated server (vurtual server running on a DELL 1750) but it is rock solid.. I would like to thank all those who have been using it for the past few days, you really help me locate the shortcuming and flaws that needed to be addressed. With that said, I would like to let everyone know it is now open for business and you are more than welcome to create your own channels or what not.. There are currently 2 permanent channels #welcome and #pokemon. The server has all the bells and whistles you may need. nickserv & chanserv ect. so if anyone needs a permanent channel created It can be done.

Please feel free to join and register your nick...

once connected type...

/msg nickserv register

when you connect again you will need to identify yourself or it will change your nick to guest. you do that with...

/msg nickserv identify

your nick will stay registered for 30 days, and will auto renew everytime you connect and identify.

BTW: Admins.... being that this is not efnet and is simi private, it also means that there will never be any take overs.

But it doesnt mean that no one would try to, or hack it anyway.. because we all know that NOTHING is foolproof!
