My 3DSXL is enabling the 3D effect randomly.

Can someone help me figure this out? I was playing DS games on my 3DSXL and when I exited to the Home Menu the 3D effect was enabled, which was weird as I didn't even touched the 3D slider. I thought it was a bug but it persisted even after a reboot; also tried enabling and disabling manually, recalibrating etc and nothing. Then I found out that moving the top screen affects it. I always play when lying down before sleep, with the hinge one "click" away from full open. Something inside like a connection got worn out I guess?

Have you tried moving the 3D slider across the entire range a handful of times? It's entirely feasible some dirt managed to find its way in there and that causes the 3DS to misread the position it's in.

Yeah, I tried but I don't even use it, might aswell disable it permanently.
