Gaming multiplayer like mario kart!?

im always amazed at how well the multiplayer in mario kart works, then i play goldeneye or smash bros and its terrible! are there any other games with multiplayer like mario kart?

also, i never seem to get the speed boost at the start...wasssup with that!?

I enjoy the Conduit 2. It's decent and has quite a bunch of features.
Also Monster Hunter Tri has a cool co-op online mode.
Animal Crossing: City Folk is nice but can get a bit boring, especially because of the whole YOU NEED THEIR FRIEND CODE thing.

And about the turbo: Accelerate when the 2 begins to vanish. Haha.

EDIT: The Smash Bros Wi-Fi is enjoyable, only bad part is that if your not a Smash Bros addict (like moi) you'll get killed. Mario Kart has that thing where there isn't much you can improve in in order to get better and compete with the top people, thats why for me its more enjoyable. When I HAD GoldenEye the Wi-Fi did seem slow and cruddy, but thats an opinion.

There are a few games that come close to the (IMHO) perfection of Mario Kart. I had so much fun with House of the Dead Overkill in co-op, unbelievable. Classic game.

Furthermore Trackmania and Boom Blox are really easy games to get into and you can have so much fun with them.

But no game is better than Mario Kart in multiplayer IMHO, it's just too much fun and so easy to pick up and play for an hour.

i liked conduit 2 but did find a few laggy games and games that froze

smash bros is ok when it works but having to use a chat room to get codes is annoying, i just cant find anyone via the search

will try trackmania and boom blox

i know what you mean about mario karts difficulty, it does always favor people in last but like the guy above said its just so fun and easy to get in a game for hours with loads of people..

oh and im trying the turbo start when the 2 dissapears but never notice a boost

After a few tries I was able to do it about 80% of the times, you can do it too!

I've been able to do that since MK DS came out... Once you get the timing down, it's simple.

iv never had a problem with the boost since n64 days! but i just cant seem to get it to work on the wii

iv never stalled though, so would that indicate im not doing it early enough (too early is still stall right?) i know "as soon as the 2 fades" sounds simple and it should be but i just cant do it!!!

i must have played over 100 races now and i havent managed it once. get me an n64 and i'll do it 9/10 times!

was starting to think it wasnt allowed on manual or that only other players saw the boost flames or some other weird explanation!

What controller are you using? I just repeatedly tap the directional pad on the classic Controller and shake alot with the wii remote.
