Mario Kart DS
Jump Ultimate Stars
Metroid Prime: Hunters

That's about it for me. I don't play a whole lot of multiplayer though so...

JUMP! Ultimate Stars
This game is just too much fun, i just wish i could understand Japanese so that i could understand each and every character's traits as i don't know all the characters from each manga

With Tank beat havning WiFi i would say thats a given

So for me it would be:
Quake DS (for the homebrewers)
Tank Beat
Custom Robo Arena (who cares about storyline when you can have Robofigths online)
42 All-Time Classics / Clubhouse Games
LostMagic (as long as you dont meet anyone LOTS of levels above you)
and last but not least
Animal Crossing WW

I've never even heard of Tank Beat and Lost Magic. I'll have to check those out!

New Super Mario Bros. and 42 All-Time Classics and ofcourse Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! and his western brother Elite Beat agents. Those are the games that gave me the most fun in multiplayer.

Any chance of getting this STICKIED? I think this is an important list for people looking to play games with their friends. Also, any new additions?

*Bump!!

star wars III
planet puzzle league
Big brain academy

it would be good if this was stickied & wikied...not only the 'essentials' but all multiplayer functional.....i would think there are some good multiplayer ones that would have been missed

EDIT: i ought to keep my mouth shut....there is a small list of multiplayer ds games on the wikiwakitemp

is it maybe possible to write some more infos to the game? What i mean is:

Is the game playable with 1-card or do you need a card for every player?

I guess I never bothered with this info because when you use ROMs, it's just as easy to get two as it is to get one! And who here doesn't use ROMs?

dbz is great for multiplayer fighting, especially after all characters/combos have been unlocked
