afkim (away from keyboard instant messenger) supports AIM, YIM, MSN, ICQ, and gmail chat.
and it's not a portal ;]

afkim isn't running for me, loads then goes back to the screen saying cannot load and gives an error.

never mind the link ya gave works, but isn't bitme server down?
