MSI errors

every time i try to install or uninstall a program it requires me to find a msi.


"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that s unavailable. Click ok to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'xxx.msi' in the box below"

Ive tried many diffrent ways. I did sfc/ scannow and used the windows 7 disc and nothing has worked.

It can't access the place your trying to install to.
Is your disk full?

No. I have over 200GBs free

Are you sure its installing to your hard drive?

Im trying to uninstall a program. but it also happens when i install some using the windows installer

i have windows 7 and if i follow those steps to download the latest msi package it'll download 4.5 because Microsoft hasn't released 5.0 which came with windows 7. Will it update itself? Or should i just reinstall windows?
