I just hope the game feels the same as the older ones. People on here seem to be more excited about that other game coming out which is fairly similar... can't remember its name at the moment.

The Japanese version is coming out July 17 if I'm correct. I think I'm going to give it a try, I don't understand any Japanese, but I think I will be able to figure out how to play it

. I played all the MS games, but my favorite will always be MS3, though it can change with MS7.

i tried to (pre)order it.. even today - as the releasedate should be nearing - its nowhere to be found on amazon.de
when searching on amazon.co.uk...only Steel Disaster turns up, lol

There will be know arcade version afaik..

Since it's a 2D game, and seeing how Contra 4 went well, I think it's a wise decision to bring it to the DS

A nice Street Fighter from Capcom would be nice too.

Somehow I feel MS7 won't live up to the legacy that is Metal Slug. Especially when you consider how NeoDS games look......it just makes you realize how much we've been getting hosed in 2D graphics detail on the DS. After seeing the graphics detail on various emus on the DS, you can't tell me the graphics on the DS with official games (the 2D ones anyway) are ever at max detail.


I hope I'm wrong though and the game WILL be 100% Metal Slug happiness.

Yeah, I liked the KOF games for GBA, they were pretty good, though...

Fighting games don't really take advantage of the 2 screens, nor the touch screen is really used on them as you need the D-pad and A-B-Y-X buttons to perform attacks. I really would like to have more fighting games on the DS though :/
