BatchDPG should work because doesn't DPG stand nDs-mPeG? Usually an encoder comes with MS2 when you download it so use that.

It is true that batchdpg doesn't support MP4, it says so.
So anyone know a work around?

I use a freeware MP4 to AVI converter by Pazera, then I convert the AVI with BatchDPG, try that.

Yeah, batchDPG has an older version of the decoders that might not read new videos. Codec packs and codecs help programs like BatchDPG read (decode) newer files (by adding new filters to DirectShow). I would also recommend K-lite, but I personally use CCCP. These codec packs read just about everything, so don't go downloading every codec pack and installing them all at once.

Would the newer versions of BathchDPG include the newer codecs? The version I have now is 1.60 Unofficial, and I've had little to no problems, but I've not converted many videos recently.
