MotorStorm Apocalypse officially announced

Evolution Studios has formally announced MotorStorm Apocalypse over on the US and EU PS Blogs.

In a post written by game director Matthew Southern, you get all the juicy details on the sixteen player online multiplayer, four player split-screen co-op, vehicle customization and perks, rankings, online rewards, persistent matchmaking, and even the Game Mode Creator.

That’s a load of stuff right there.

VG247 sent freelancer Adam Hartley to interview Southern and have a look at MSA last week, which was described to him as a game that’s “just fucking lunacy”.

Hopefully we'll get some sort of other MotorStorm game for PSP in the near future. Aside from the Sony exclusivity, I'd say that MotorStorm is close to the best racing series of this generation.
