The WiiWare version will feature:
- 4:3 and 16:9 resolution support
- Classic Controller support
- New graphics & option to switch to the 8-bit graphics
- New music and the option to switch to old music as well as mix-and match
- Bonus content (hasn't been revealed yet)

Same here, Quote doesn't really need much more than his original sprite. Everything else is absolutely fine though. Good thing you can switch between sprite versions in the game.

That main character always looked like a girl IMO.
Looking forward to this, as I never finished the PC version. Managed to lose my save data after a few hours in, and never could be arsed to do it again. Shame, because I loved it.

Also, for those who care, Nifflas (the guy who made Knytt Stories, Knytt, Within A Deep Forest, etc.) is part of the team porting this. And the same team is making another WiiWare game nicknamed Skymning.

wow, had no idea this was coming to wii, thanks for the heads up War.

I do agree though, the main character looks a lot like a girl now.
I also prefer the 8-bit graaphics more. But hey more content is never bad, especially when you can switch back to 8-bit anyways.

Is this the work of Pixel?

Pixel's directly working with the team who's porting this, so yeah.

I can't wait for this, personally. Wiiware looks like a great platform for these freeware PC platformers I love to get attention (there's Skymning coming from Nifflas too).

A lot sharper game it looks like. The old looks like a gameboy game stretched on a 50 inch screen.
